Language Functions (الوظائف اللغوية):
1. To ask and answer about family members (السؤال والإجابة عن أفراد العائلة):
- Question: Who is this / he / she ? (من يكون / تكون؟)
- Answer: This / He / She is my mother. (هذه والدي/أمي)
- Note: Who's = Who is
2. Using "Verb to be" for simple description (استخدام فعل يكون للوصف):
- I → am
- He / She / It → is
- Example: He is tall. (هو طويل)
3. Possessive Adjectives (صفات الملكية):
- my (ملكي): This is my brother. (هذا أخي)
- your (ملكك / ملككم): We use "your" to show belonging to the person spoken to.
Lesson 3: My Life at Home (حياتي في المنزل)
Reading Passage (نص القراءة):
"My name is Sara. I wake up at seven. Then, I eat breakfast in the morning. I brush my teeth and read a book."
"أنا اسمي سارة. أنا أستيقظ الساعة السابعة. ثم أتناول وجبة الإفطار في الصباح. أغسل أسناني وأقرأ كتاب."

The letters th make the sound /θ/ (مثل حرف الثاء في اللغة العربية).

1. The Present Simple Tense (زمن المضارع البسيط)
Affirmative Statement (الجملة المثبتة):
A) With (He / She / It / Singular noun):
Subject + Verb(+s / +es) + Rest of sentence
- She eats breakfast.
- She wakes up at seven o'clock.
- Note: Add [es] if verb ends with (x, sh, ch, ss, o) → brush → brushes.
B) With (I / You / We / They / Plural noun):
Subject + Infinitive Verb + Rest of sentence
- I brush my teeth at night.
- I walk to school at 8:00 am.
